MCRS: Modular Common Rail Systems for large engine applications
Large diesel engines are often used to drive ships or locomotives. Engines like these work predominantly in part load operation. The Modular Common Rail Systems from Bosch enable significant fuel savings to be made with these large diesels.
Technical characteristics
Fuel reservoirs in the high-pressure pump and injectors ensure a constant injection pressure at the nozzle, and enable multiple injections with increased flexibility. The system can also be flexibly adapted to a variety of engine types.
Advantages
- High, speed-independent injection pressure
- Low operating noise
- Reduced consumption values
- Compliance with strict emissions limit values
- Adaption for exhaust gas treatment
- Long service life
